The synthesis of Biogasmax results is published on web !

The Synthesis report (44 pages), presenting the main outcomes and findings of the Biogasmax project, is published. Lessons from experiences of six European demonstration sites are described and show that biométhane is a great way of turning waste into transport fuel. This 44-page report summaries the 25 technical final reports produced by the European Commission - funded Consortium between 2006 and end-2010.

In the perspective of biomethane market expansion, a need for a flexible European standard on biomethane

Following the European Commission's request, Biogasmax consortium has drawn recommendations for the establishment of a European standard on biomethane. The aim is to make a proposal to the Committee of European Normalization (CEN) who has been currently working on this issue.
